Theatre in the Park: Summer Showcase 1974 to 1977

The continuation of our Hometown Histories series with a discussion of the Ocean Township Summer Showcase, which took place in the Deal Test Site (now Joe Palaia Park) in the summers of 1974 to 1977. Marilyn Michaels and Charles Pavarini discuss the theater production that took place when the Township first purchased the Deal Test Site, and were a summertime escape for the residence and others who performed, and who came to the shows. Dallas Grove conducts the interview, and is also Executive Producer; Produced by Joe Bove and Ted Dellinger; Music is recording from the shows of Summer Showcase. 

The Township of Ocean Historical Museum is a 501(c)(3) charity, and a 100% volunteer organization, that tells the story of Coastal Monmouth County, New Jersey, USA.
