Memorial Bricks




ADD YOUR NAME TO HISTORY
The Museums' "Buy a Brick" campaign supports the preservation,restoration and operations of the two-hundred and fifty year old Woolley Homestead as a museum of local history.  Help us operate this fine old farmhouse, the home of Eden Woolley, the first elected official in the Township of Ocean, as the new home of the Museum.

Add your name to a walkway of personalized bricks at the new site of this historic house.  

The names of individuals, families, and organizations will be permanently inscribed on a 4"x 8" brick. (three lines, 13 characters per line including spaces and punctuation)

Bricks cost $100.00 each. Your contribution is tax deductible.  To obtain the correct form to order a  memorial brick phone 732-531-2136 and leave complete mailing information. A form will be mailed to you.

UPDATE January 2008
Phase one of the Memorial Brick installation has been completed!  See the photo at the top of this page.   Phase two will be installed sometime during fall of 2009, when enough additional bricks have been purchased to complete a second phase.  Individuals purchasing a brick now will be included in the Phase two installation.

UPDATE December 2009
Phase two of the Memorial Brick program has begun. Bricks have been engraved and this phase has been placed in front of the Historical Playhouse immediately to the East of the Woolley House. There is plenty of room for additional bricks if you wish to remember your family members, organization or friends. 

UPDATE May 15,2010
 Phase Two has been completed. The dedication of this phase was held on Sunday September 12, 2010
